The Passion

Purple lightning in the distance,
white lightning at my feet,
rumblings chase throughout the dirt,
while the rain brings down my emotions.
It's oozing and dripping and running
all across the hills and bumps and into the crevices,
washing out the cuts and rinsing away the ink.
But the landscape is only bathed in this heat
often enough to be barely satisfied.
When it proves itself worthy, in time that does not exist,
night will fall and all will be drenched in
The Passion.

I love rain, I love storms, I love thunder and lightning and all of it. (Of course, most of all...rain.) This poem is beautiful and I just love the way you've said so much with it.
Bravo and encore
Love,
Chelsea |
