Little Girl
Standing on the tracks
Knwoing what is coming
But not turning your back
Waiting patiently
For that blessed release
Waiting and waiting
To die
You stand there all alone
Tears in your eyes
What horrible fate
Has caused you to want to die
Little girl
Please tell me the truth
Before that big old train
Runs over you
Little Girl
Standing on the tracks
Knwoing what is coming
But not turning your back
Waiting patiently
For that blessed release
Waiting and waiting
To die
Where's your mother at?
Is she waiting at home?
Watching the news
Waiting for you to come?
And what about your father?
Are you Daddy's girl?
When he sees your mangled body
He's gonna hurl
Little Girl
Standing on the tracks
Knwoing what is coming
But not turning your back
Waiting patiently
For that blessed release
Waiting and waiting
To die
Little Girl
Standing on the tracks
Knwoing what is coming
But not turning your back
Waiting patiently
For that blessed release
Waiting and waiting
To die

This is beautifully written. It is so deep and so powerful. Bravo and encore!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Love,
Chelsea
P.S.
Hurl and girl definitely rhyme... unless you're not speaking English or something. (I'm confused w/ overstated's comment) |
