your lies

Your lies tear holes in my flesh
My cries I wear outside
My secret room stays locked inside
You beat me down to my knees
I crawl with a desperate plea
My contradicting wish falls
Take away my disease
I won’t be one of you
The circle won’t untie
My light grows further away
I’m blinded by your close-minded eyes
Your salt stings deep into my wounds
Maybe I’ll win
Maybe you’ll beat me till I die
But will my star shine bright enough
For you to see?
