''An Angels face did appear!''

Contributed by LOWMAN613 on Friday, 11th October 2002 @ 12:15:00 PM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

I'm looking at this photograph of my son,
Jumping on the bed and having fun,
Just in that moment a ladies face did appear,
Her face in the picture was very clear,
Was she my sons guardian angel that day?
Making sure all the bad went away,
It was a ghost or an angel full of grace,
NO, Wait... It was a vision of my mothers face!
I blew up the picture and "Yes" to my surprise,
That face I saw had my mothers eyes,
It was very clear to others and me,
That this ladies face was my moms that I see,
It brought tears to my eyes, a guardian angel did appear,
That was the form of my mom,so I had no fear,
Just knowing that my moms watching over the place,
Made me happy about photographing this angels face!
I never really believed in this sort of thing before,
But seeing that picture makes me want to take more!

Wow... that's great! Though I'm kinda curious why you posted it in sad poetry... hmm... it's a great write though... and I've had that happen to my film before, only my great grandmother showed up in the picture... (she always said that she'd come back to haunt us if we cried at her funeral....) Great write!

An angels face, in any case
is always a pleasure to see
but when you know
the face that shows
that's even better you see.

A very good read.
