While all else is shifting and moving,
All the while to you I’ll be proving,
I’ll be stuck firmly at your side,
There’s no need for you to run and hide.
When others have hurt you through the years,
I’ll protect you, love you and chase away all your fears,
I won’t turn my back or leave you to face the world alone,
With me your heart forever has a place to call home.
I’d never lie and I’d never cheat,
We share something that only together can be made complete,
In me you can trust, as it will never be broken
I can promise you, you’ll never hear a truer word spoken.
I won’t make you false promises and offer fake honesty,
I’ll make sure you’re the happiest you could ever wish to be,
I’m here with you, with you all the way,
You’re my shining light, my every thing what more can I say.
I am your closest and most trusted friend,
Who’s here at the start and will be at the end,
We will walk proudly side by side,
With everything to prove and nothing to hide.
As you open up to me like a blossoming flower,
My love for you grows abundantly by the hour,
I want you to look I want you to see,
That always and forever you can count on me.
