The Soul

Topic: MiscPoems

The soul is the most precious part,
It is the watcher of your heart,
When you are hurting deep, deep down,
It is your soul that bears the frown.

Think of your soul like a big white light,
To see a soul would be such a glorious sight,
But unfortunately they are hidden well,
Tucked away in our humanly shell.

A soul is born naked and alone,
Until it grows and chooses a home,
That home is inside a mortal being,
To make them whole and give them true feelings.

A human without a soul is a wandering loner,
Without a conscience or persona,
They will never love and they will never feel,
Until they posses a soul and know that emotions are real.

My soul is what makes me ……..me,
It so much more than just what you see,
From the outside looking in,
Is easy to miss what’s deep within.

Keep your soul safe and protected,
Out of dangers way of becoming rejected,
Because a damaged or a broken soul,
Can be lost forever and never again become whole.

When two souls make a bond and are connected,
Off each other they will be reflected,
They will stay entwined as if they were one,
The meaning of soul mate has begun.

You bear your soul to the one you hold dear,
You enter the place that knows no fear,
At last you have found you have found heaven on earth,
To loves true meaning you have given birth.

Don’t take it for granted and it will always be around,
This is such a fragile and treasured thing you have found,
So keep it safe and wrap it in a blanket of love,
This sacred, once in a lifetime gift from above.

Great poem... just sitting here now wishing my soul wasn't frowning so... or wishing I could find that one soul to be connected to...
Maybe one day huh? Maybe one day?
