Spring Time
Spring is here at last in all its beauty and slender.
Tall Pine trees with their branches spread wide
Sway gently in the warm winds
Leaving a sent that if fresh and pure
Creaks now thawed, water tricking over the shallow rock beds.
Fall leaves floating as they work their way down stream.
Birds are chirping in the early morning sun.
Squirrels chattering on branches of tall spruce trees
Frogs croaking in a near by pond
Buds on trees waiting for new leaves to appear
Soon the wild roses will fill the air with there delicate scent
Tiger lily’s lady slippers bluebells and ferns all patiently
Waiting for the rains to begin
For only than will the forest come alive
And new life will begin once more

I just came back from being gone for a week and find your work. I am very impressed with your imagery. You write from your heart and soul and of life and reality. I will be watching for your work as I have truly enjoyed what I have read so far and will read it all in time. You are a good writer. Welcome home. I hope you stay with us.
Rainbows,
Rita |
