Ignorance is bliss,
hell is heaven,
pain is caresed
love is rebelled on,
silence is loudest,
heart-breaks surround,
living in fear,
able to sleep sound.
Swirling in confusion,
knowing how to play the game.
Every guy you know is exactly the same,
living for the thrill of getting laid,
not caring who's hurt along the way.
Sinister thoughts are laughed upon,
the truth is haulted by lies.
Wanting to leave the past behind,
being caught up in lust, hypnotized.
Trying to be happy, but crying all night,
simply trying to say your good-bye.
Happiness is only imagination,
a smile, an expression you wish you knew.
Killing me slowing, writing down my sorrow.
Fatigued and-d depressed,
and again tomorrow.
Scratching at skin, frustrated...can't see,
you can go on everyday knowing you hurt me.
Immense pain, rapid, flowing tears,
heart pounding, a body shaking with fear.
Bliss is a passion we once held in our hearts,
heaven with you, turned hellish
when we fell apart.
Your love always seemed
to chase the pain away,
now we're living for dying, pain is our game.
Fear rises in us...yet it's something complete,
This cycle rolls on, as we always admit defeat.

Wow! That was very interesting. So many things that are opposite, yet reside in the same place. You thought of so many. I like the way you think. Harsh, good, poem.

Oh! I like the opening this very much! and...
heaven with you, turned hellish
when we fell apart.
now we're living for dying, pain is our game.
...these particular lines are extraordinary! Well done!

The pain in this was like a living, twisting, ever morphing thing wow.
Every guy you know is exactly the same,
living for the thrill of getting laid,
As far as those two lines that is not true not every guy lives for getting laid... like myself for example.
I wrote a poem called Ignorance is Bliss and isn't it true?
