I walked along a path one day
for a while and home seemed so far away.
I passed along an orchard white,
looking lovingly at it with delight.
And the birds chirping messages we may never understand,
As they passed over a feather fell onto my hand.
The oak trees standing proud and tall,
O, can't we just not have Fall?
And all the rivers and streams glistening in the light,
And everything seems so perfect, just right.
And I touched the tufts of flowers with my hand,
While the birds chirped messages we may never understand.
