Darkness
Darkness creeps slowly across the ground
Inch by inch, consuming all in its course
No more light shall be found
All things yield to its dismal force
All life goes sinisterly silent and calm
Eyes shut tightly in pain
There is no beginning, where the shadow comes from
There is no stopping, no end for the deadly bane
The last ray of light slowly begins to fade
Hope diminishes, all is lost
Bloody and tarnished falls my blade
Winter follows shadow, covering the rest in frost
