The Weeping Girl.

Contributed by witwooo on Friday, 11th October 2002 @ 07:45:00 AM in AEST
Topic: Grief

The girl was crying
the pain on her face
i shall never forget
i could of helped her
it was up to me
she was on the second floor ready to jump
I told her id catch her
if she had only hurried up
All of a sudden bang goes the door
her boyfriend was ready to beat her some more
He dragged her back in and wanred us to leave
we went round the corner in hope he wouldnt see
The police came shortly after
all thanks to me
Alas they we're to late.
The girl was gone. . .
specs of blood on the floor
Was all they found
but they couldnt convuct him
lack of evidence you see
but if your in the same situation
don't be a coward . .. .
Like me.

This was a very heartfelt poem
I hope it wasnt true, but if it was
then i don't see you as a coward
I think it's been known to mankind
that it takes the police entirely
way to long to arrive to any scene
and at least you helped
all that you possibly could
Great write, keep em' coming
