Calling Upon Lilith

Contributed by Rylo on Tuesday, 25th May 2004 @ 10:22:57 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Trapped in darkness for all eternity.
I always wonder what it really is that consumes me.
Maybe the feeling of a darkened ecstasy,
or maybe the lust when it's time to feed.
I stare into the blackened sky, each and everynight,
Trying to figure out, if what I do is right.
I call out to my mother Lilith, who was the cause of my bloodlined birth.
Looking for answers, to why I roam this earth.
In my times of travel, I have taken many lives, and never once broke my stride.
Why must we all hide from the rest of the world I wonder,
And why can't we fall in love with a mortal.
These are some things, that I ask you my mother.
I am grateful for the life that I live, just as others are grateful, for the life that I give.
And why is it that we can't look into the past, if we do, will that day become our last.
These are some questions that I just had to ask.
In the year 2006, will you be at my side, and awaken the others,
So we no longer have to hide.
As it will be the end of the world, that we, and mortals know of.
Do we stand a chance against the great methuselahs, or will they kill off all of us.
These are some questions others ask, and the only thing that I could say.
Is to stick together, and send them back into their darkened past.
Mother time is almost hear, so I ask for your help to show no fear in the 2006th year.
