Hello I'm new to this site,as you would know,
Because I'm not familar to all who show,
I've been writing poetry for friends and family,
I found this site and it makes me happy,
I'm hoping to meet new friends in here,
And posting my poetry,that I want to share,
Although Ive found who get the most "reads,"
Are the regulars who always lead,
Which is great and I understand this,
Just maybe one day I'll be on the top list,
I've had great comments and some rateings too,
But I guess it's just who knows you,
I enjoy writing poetry and I'll do it till I die,
If I don't get recognized,tomorrow I'll try,
Don't get me wrong the popular people are great,
But us new comers will surprise you,just wait!
So I just thought I'd let this out if I may,
Thank you to this site,thats open to what I say!
