Why

Contributed by alwys2nv on Tuesday, 25th May 2004 @ 10:55:45 AM in AEST
Topic: Suicide

You live
i cut
i die
you ask why
theres no understanding
you cant comprehend
my life is just a struggle
i have to put it to an end
my death is in my grasp
just a couple cuts by a knife
will make it end real fast
picking up the knife
grabbing it very tight
things will be ok
after this bloody night
my life is ending right before my eyes
im starting to feel happy
knowing im about to die
right before i close my eyes
i begin to see the truth
why do we live our lifes
that we live to day
always seem like a lie
why do we always contemplate
wether to live live or die

WOW- you really know how to read minds... I'm feeling the same way, there isn't a day I don't think about dying or cutting. I really, really
loved your poem... would love to see more of your work, keep your head up high.
