Wild Rose holds court in the center of a Meadow
Over Queen Ann's Lace, Dandelions and Daisie's
Statuesque Phlox are scattered all about
All of them curtesying and dancing in the wind
Shining like white, pink and purple stars
The regal sun bathes the meadow with her wonderful glow
Daisie's bow their heads in agreement with the whispering breeze
While industrious fuzzy bees alight on them
And lift off with their hind legs so plump and yellow
It's surprising they can fly!!!
Meadow larks alight on swaying branches warbelling
Their melodious tunes
The meadow is alive as Nature goes her busy way
And the Wild Rose sits in contented harmonious reign

A most beautiful poem. Flowers are there to be admired and if one has a little imagination one can picture them speaking to one another. They probably do but we alas do not understand them. Full marks for a poem that I can fully emote with.

Your imagery is superb. I live in the country so I see this scene daily and makes life worth actually viewing. The colors and the smells add such a beauty to life and Mother Nature abounds freely, not contained in pots or boxes. She is free to flourish.

Oh thumper this is spectacular indeed!
The pictures you painted in my mind's eye will long be remembered. I can just see those bees with legs loaded down, and the even hear the melodious tunes of the meadow larks, we have them here too!
Wonderful.
