Romance

Contributed by ThePumpkinKing on Monday, 24th May 2004 @ 04:02:36 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

Love can thrill, kill, all that you feel
Make you just, trust, fall into lust
Lights fires, desire, always expires
No good that could come, it's understood

Romance has set in again
My hearts in the noose once more
Romance has set in again
My hopes broken on the floor

This pain it's real, it steals, all joy you feel
I believe, see, love ain't for me
It blows, it flows, comes and it goes
I fumble, stumble, and now I crumble

Romance has set in again
The guns to my head once more
Romance has set in again
Freaking out and on the floor

***** romance

Love sure can hurt sometimes...sounds like it has for you. I hope you find true love that won't cause you that kind of pain. Emotional poem.

This is very emotional and sad. I like the poem, especially the rhythm-- it would make a GREAT rap song, like, one with an understandable, non-ephemeral meaning.
Bravo and encore! Hope you feel better.
Love,
Chelsea

Please understand and know that love is not always painful. Even the ones that didn't work out still lit up a piece of your heart for a while. Every iota of love is important to our hearts. Cherish the good from each one and throw out the hurt. Never let hurt live with you for long. It is a cruel master.
