I am happy when I am heard
without the fear of sounding absurd
I am happy when I don't have to hide
all these emotions locked inside

I am happy when I can speak clearly
about someone I love dearly
Even when I speak of fear
or when I want to shed a tear

I have you to tell my troubles to
and you help me out when I am blue
Your sincerity and generosity
make me feel free constantly

I really need to say thank you
I do and it' s true
Thank you for listening
when my heart was near blistering

You're what I needed
I was so conceded
I don't think you'll ever fully understand when I say
thanks for pushing me all this way

I can't put my thanks in word
in fear that they will only be heard
I want you to know it in your heart and soul
you are a person that my heart will forever hold

thought this poem needed a comment...I think the title was perfect because the poem wasn't all that original...I don't mean that in a bad wway tho...yu took a topic that most ppl will write about sooner or later and made it yur own...yu r a great poet...keep um comin
