You are the one,
Whom I choose,
To stand by my side,
When I win and lose.
You make me so happy,
You make me feel free.
You understand how I feel,
You love me for me.
You may not ever understand,
Exactly how I feel.
Sometimes I still can't believe,
That this love is real.
I imagined someone like you,
Only in my dreams.
Finding you,
Is still a dream it seems.
You've stood by my side,
Through thick and thin.
We connect on a much deeper level,
You seem to understand how I'm feeling within.
When things are going wrong,
And I'm being led astray,
Those three special words from you,
Just brighten up my day.
You're so patient with me,
And you make me feel needed.
When I am with you,
I never feel defeated.
You cheer me up,
When I'm feeling blue,
And these are just a few reasons,
Why I love you.

It's amazing how other poet's seem to capture my thoughts and feelings. (sometimes better than I do myself). You did that for me. Sounds like a true, deep, love. Lovely poem.
