Just Some Random Thoughts About You, Jonathan

Everything has been so great for a while.
But now it feels different.
I don't feel different.
Only about you.
In the sense that you feel different about me.
Not that you don't love me.
Well, maybe you don't.
I'm not sure.
Do you realize how long it's been since you've said you love me?
A long time.
You told me yourself that you wanted to spend the rest of your life with me,
But I'm not so sure.
It doesn't feel like you feel like that.
It seems as though you love me,
On a diminishing level.
I want you to be happy,
For it is like we are one.
When your heart aches,
So does mine.
When you're feeling down,
So am I.
I only want you to be happy.
Maybe you don't need me to be happy.
If that is the case,
So be it.
Maybe you're not happy with me.
Maybe I've failed.
What have I done?
I feel as though I've somehow disappointed you.
If you want to be free from me,
It's okay.
I'll try to understand.
I just want you to be happy.
I place you before myself.
If anything should ever happen,
And if we don't end up together,
All I ask is that you remember me.
I will always remember you.
And remember how much I love you.
I will always love you.
I wish you would give me some sort of hint.
But you never did really open up and talk about your thoughts and feelings.
I wish you would.
I really do.
Why do you keep it all locked up?
All to yourself?
What is wrong with us now?
Maybe it's just me,
You know how I get.
Or maybe it's just my fears taking over...
