Do you believe in fate?
That sort of bull***** probably does exist somewhere
I’d kick a puddle and scream in your face
My kind of shame doesn’t cause disgrace
What is love?
Do we really care?
Forget that *****, someone did declare
It’s smart to say, it looks like rain
The cold droplets burn straight through my skin
I really think it looks like rain
But being out here I don’t seem to want to go in
Each acidic drop rolls down your cheek
Drowning me in deadly sin
I probably should care right now, it certainly looks like rain
Ever since I met you, there’s only been today
Forget the cute “I love you”
I’ll cut out the pain of every pointless love song
Hope lay in the sparkle in your intimidating, green eyes
Though your presence still overwhelms me more than I can ever explain to you
All of a sudden it matters
For a while I didn’t understand why
But if you look around, it looks like rain
Sending cold shivers down me, making my lips blue
I don’t think it matters if it looks like rain
All I can see is you.
