There is a place where I can go
A place with folks I do not know
A place where people feel the same
A common bond, a common flame
So many people worlds apart
With poetry inside the heart
A place where you will feel no hate
Where people dont descriminate
We are the colour of our words
Where people write the songs of birds
Wanting to talk, wanting to share
Wanting to listen and to care
Can share my feelings without shame
Comments left help through the pain
Its great that people take the time
To listen to stories and rhyme
A world where you can write a scream
A place where you can let out steam
A place where feelings speak so loud
There is no face lost in the crowd
To share the feelings people do
With comments left to help you through
With just a heart but not a face
I thank you again for this place.
