I gave you my heart on a silver platter
My heart was like glass so fragile and tender so easy to shatter
You never saw, you never knew
The damage caused by the words you threw
I need to know
Are you my friend, or are you my foe?
You were so close but yet so far
My friend, my enemy is what you are
I gave you my heart
But all you did was tear it apart
You couldn’t understand, you couldn’t see
Just friends, you said is all we will ever be
If you’re a friend, a friend to me
Let me go, set me free
Release me from your spell
I can’t stand this place between heaven and hell!
