my baby son and wife

I went to a party to have some fun
I told myself i wouldn't have none
I knew it was a lie but i tried
I left the party at about one
To go see my baby son
I was driving home late at night
When i saw a bright light
I got out of the car to see who it was
When i heard him say this guy had more then a buzz
The two people are dead in the other car because this guy wanted some fun
As i sit here in my sill I regret the day i drank and drove
But now i have 25 to life to realize i killed my baby son and wife

This poem really hit me hard. I have an acquaintance who was drinking and driving...rolled his car and broke his friends neck and back...he wasn't hurt. He still drinks and drives. Before help could arrive, enough time elapsed so that his blood level passed when they tested him...he brags about it. I won't allow him in my home any more. Your poem is a forceful reminder not to drink and drive...I hope it isn't a true story, if it is you must be in a living hell..
