All Coming Together

Topic: SecretLove

I lay here, with pen in hand;
Waiting for all I know is grand.

I lay here, with mind in thought,
My imagination is suddenly caught.

I lay here, thinking of Love,
Catching inside, all I'm proud of.

I lay here, and without a whim,
I reach out my hand, and my eyes begin to brim.

I lay here, with loving tears for you,
Sitting outside in the world we once knew.

I lay here, thinking it was all cruel before,
Thinking of the world I used to explore.

I lay here, knowing that I have found a new place to live,
Inside your mind, heart, and soul, if your willing to give.

I lay here, not knowing the suprise,
The loving look I found inside your eyes.

I lay here, drifting above the clouds once high,
And let out that one last sigh.

I lay here, racing inside clouds, heart, and mind.
Knowing that our love isn't blind.

I lay here, with you in my heart,
Wanting to reach this delicate art.

I lay here, with river flowing in it's race,
Now knowing that Love sets the pace.

I lay here, knowing it's time to drift to sleep,
But, into my soul I must take a last peek.

I lay here, with all safe and sound,
My body the only thing on the ground.

And I lay here, asleep and focusing on all the love your heart brings,
And I now know...I must be...I'm Dreaming of Dreams.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
