Asylum High (part 3)

Asylum High
(part 3)

immunity

your medication is taking less affect
the serum in the needle point is being less direct
my mind is no longer clouded with artificial life
my memories are coming back, the feeling of that knife
the one I used to kill my parents almost 10 years ago
my brother, that night, and the old dirt road
and now I remember who I really am
I was the child butcher and now I’m the serial killing madman

open cage, open mind

got the key, to set me free
open up the cell, so I can leave
all those guards, silent alarm
they are my art and I mean them harm
I’m a soul stealer, a professional killer
they said I was insane so I better deliver
a new knife in my hand, a new life I can disband
soon the whole world will know who I am

closed cage, closed mind
open cage, open mind

the Darkwater massacre

Darkwater
I’m your doctor and I’m hotter than hell
mountain mist
I’m a therapist, a lunatic from the cell
mission
I’m a physician with an ambition for knives
tables turnin’
I’m a surgeon and were learner to die

so many left dead in the wake
holding my knives I know its fate
this is my mission I know for sure
perhaps I should go on a world tour
tell everyone about the people I’ve been killin’
tell everyone about the blood that’s been spillin’
soon everyone will know my name....Vermillion

You know i love this, i dont know why im so fascinated by the darker side of human nature, and in a "silence of the lambs" way got all caught up in the seriel killer as the hero...but that last line, scared me, jolted me back into reality. Like your conscience is suddenly forced to deal with the fact that you've been taking such pleasure in the torment of others. Brilliant.
