I cannot stand to see your pain,
As tears flow down your face again.
I long to wrap you in my arms,
To hold you tight, safe from harm.
I want to wipe your tears away,
From your side, I’ll never stray.
I will help you up when you are down,
To make you laugh, I’ll joke and clown.
When you need me, I will be there,
To hold your hand, and show I care.
Together we will fight your fears,
Because I love you, Daughter Dear!
In your heart, when I’m gone away,
A piece of me, I hope, will stay.
It will tell you don’t be sad,
Because I’m proud to be your Dad.
I Love You, Sweetie!
