I know you're there, not saying a thing
I can feel you, your oppressive presence
I can see your face, even with eyes closed
Your greasy grabbing hands clutching
I know you're out there
Seemingly hiding, yet ever present
Don't you ever tire of this charade
I can feel you
A sickening sensation with each passing day
Unappreciated and most unwanted
I can see your face
Looming like some horrid spectre
No emotion and still disturbingly smug
You're grasping hands dragging me
Pulling me where I've no desire to go
Don't you understand, I just want to stay
Yeah, I know you're there, I can sense it
Surely you must know that you're despised
I know what it takes to get out of this prison
But what do you care anyway, you're just a clock.
