Have you noticed? Do you care?
Every time I sit and stare.
I can’t help the way I feel,
Everything is so surreal.
Your face an image in my mind,
It’s always there so sweet and kind.
The words I speak don’t say a thing,
I wish I could tell everything.
If you knew the things I hide,
And for you all the times I’ve cried,
Would it change the way you feel,
Could it make our love for real?

I don't know if precious is the word I'd use, but it's good, and I can relate to the exact feeling, i've felt that probably a thousand times. don't worry. things'll start looking up and they will always work out. just not in the way you might hope or expect. but it will be better than you imagined it could be.
