Was I a Thought to Begin With

Contributed by Chief on Thursday, 10th October 2002 @ 07:00:00 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

In a fleeting moment, you gave me life
One of many, I would be
I wondered, was I a thought to begin with
Was it possible, you really wanted me

I wondered this so many times
Because in me, you left much doubt
You'd make me feel I didn't belong
Far too often, I just wanted out

Many times I seen your anger
Your frustration and discontent, clear to see
Many times I felt the pain you caused
You always took it out on me

I know that you didn't love me
I hardly ever seen you smile
No recollection that you ever cared
These memories will stay with me a while

Was I even a thought to begin with
Or merely the end result
It wasn't my choice to be here
You created me, it's not my fault

I've felt like this at times... this poem conveys everything... I love the way you show all the pain... and frustration in it. Great write.
