The white hot azure sky clothes the green of, The world in a sweltering sauna of, Acrimonious indifference.
Mischievous murmurings lie unheeded on, The angry wind who is always whispering,
Her subliminal counsels into the ears of,
Our deaf wakefulness.
The entire world wilts in this heat,
The trees moan doleful songs to the clouds,
Praying for their mercy,their coolness,their,
Shade,
Any relief from this heat.

I can really FEEL the heat you describe
I can almost envision the heat-striken zombies stumbling around looking for shade!
very well done, awesome imagery. |
