UNDERSTANDING WITH THEIR HEARTS

"UNDERSTANDING WITH THEIR HEARTS"

While being carried in the womb
A precious infant is not in a tomb.
He can hear, and feel with his heart.
Repeated music remembered, like Mozart.

Intuitive intelligence personified.
Cannot speak, can only cry outside.
It's with their hearts they understand.
Tones, emotions, frustrations, love is scanned.

Big Picture Window Eyes, watching, hearts feeling.
Understanding in their hearts, while listening.
Bitterness, anger, hate, resentment, forlorn.
They can feel if "Not Wanted" mistakenly born.

They can't say "love, " nor "concern," as "I'm worried!"
Their little intuitive guts know, even before they can read.
They've never heard the words sacrifice, or patience.....
"I put you over my own needs" is felt, not a sweet smelling fragrance.

Precious bundles with all senses aware and alert.
When they are hurt or upset, they understand comfort.
Tiny little people can't speak to those around them.
Your feelings, reactions, thoughts understood, condemn.

Adults around us often can't or won't articulate
Afraid to speak of their feelings, cautious of berate.
As an adult myself, I can still feel what you hold inside
I can also understand if it's not genuine, not real!

Precious in God's eyes are tiny people.
Please be very careful....it's hearts you chisel.
Instill beauty, kindness, love with moral excellence.
A protection, when encountering bad,
easily discerning the difference.

never cries, or fusses, sleeps on schedule
and burps on demand, an angel all the time,
you're the grandma!"

Amen. I'm scrunching up my face. I could just cry. No more babies for me. That time is over. I'll enjoy my friends babies and look forward to Grandchildren (in about 20 years). I can wait.
