I thought if I followed my heart
My questions would just disappear.
But all I am is alone
With the answers still very unclear.
And I can't help but think what you're doing
Now that you're no longer mine.
And I wonder if you think of me
If for a moment I cross your mind.
I know someday you'll be a star
In somebody else's sky.
I've already had my chance
And now it's passed me by.
