Why does it seem that no one understands me? Why do people look at me like I am a freak?
I look in the mirror and hate what I see, who is that ugly girl staring back at me?
She seems to be laughing and taunting me for all that I've done wrong. I try to run but from myself I cannot hide.
Please believe me, my dear friend, when I say that I care for you and that I love you. I just can't be your helping hand right now.
It pains me to see that after all these years, you still don't know the real me.
Please believe me when I say I'd do anything I could to save you, but you've taken for granted that maybe I'm a little ****** up too and I don't even know how to help you.

| There are people that do understand you, and others looking at you like a freak is an illusion all in your mind. Hell, I do the same thing. You can be your worst enemy without trying, this I know. This write permeates my being with raw emotion and the speaker has really revealed herself. Believe in tomorrow, and be proud of who you are. That's all anyone can ask of you, and you of yourself. |
