I hate to tell you I don’t want to be with you,
When you are the one I ever wanted to be with
I hate to tell you that I don’t think of you,
When you are all I think of
I hate to tell you I don’t want you,
When there’s no one but you who I want
I hate to tell you I don’t need you,
When I need you every minute of the day
I hate to tell you I’m not yours,
When all I want to be is only yours
I hate to tell you I would die for you,
When I can't stand to lie to you
I hate to tell you I would move on,
When I’m still waiting for you to come back
I hate to tell you I would call you,
When I tear hearing your voice
I hate to tell you that I don’t mind not being with you,
When I’m struggling to survive without you
I hate to tell you there’s another,
When I won’t give anyone a chance
I hate to tell you I’m done with you,
When I’m still hanging on to you
I hate to tell you that I love you,
When I hate you so much because you hurt me so bad.

I really like your poem. I have felt the exact same way before, well I do feel the same way.
It is really hard to let go even though you know its for the best cause you don,t want to get your heart broken again
