Love To Live

Contributed by lifefliesby on Thursday, 20th May 2004 @ 04:41:25 PM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

Love
It's what binds us and what blinds us
Love lets us see things that we never thought we could or wanted to
Love is our spirit, our essence, our meaning
Love is why we live
We live to love... to find love... to see what it TRULY is
Love is what makes the world turn and the stars appear in the night
Without love, life would have no meaning
Without life, we could not love
Live to love... and love to live it

You always have such deep thoughts. No wonder you're frustrated, you think too much. Ah well, if you get ideas like this one, it can't be all bad.
Great poem, bud.
Love,
Chelsea

I like all of the plays on words in here. True love....I'd probably just disagree with the first line. Infatuation blinds us and binds us, but I think true love, real love, forever love frees us and gives us a clean set of amazingly perceptive eyes. Nicely done. Enjoyable read.
