I stare at my ring that you gave me six yrs ago in May,
Feeling every thing now,like I did on that day,
The happiest day of my life,
The day I became your loving wife,
My dream come true thats what you are to me,
My best friend,who will be there for eternity,
I can still remember the day you asked for my hand,
How I felt like a princess,in a fantasy land,
From that day on my heart has never been the same,
and theres no one but you to blame,
How lucky I am to have married my best friend,
To have & to hold till the very end,
You wrap my heart with love & tenderness,
and say it all by just a simple kiss,
No other man has made me feel like you do,
Your my husband,my best friend & I love you!

| pretty cheesy, but that's just my opinion which is worth absolutely nothing. keep on writing what makes you happy. i just think it's cool that you've been married to the dude for 6 years and he's still cool enough for you to write something so lovey dovey about him. i wasn't sure that was still possible. |

What a sweet gesture to write a poem about (and for) the person you love. I really enjoyed reading it and I thought it was beautiful. Like you, I have also been married to my wonderful husband Daniel for almost 6 years. I have written a few love poems and the only reason they exist is because of him. :)
Keep on writing, I look forward to reading more of your works!

That was terrific. The detail of what you wanted to protray was done beautifully.
