God

As I lay me down to sleep,
I sit and stare, while counting sheep
1,2,3,4
Same again, same old chore
5,6,7,8
Oh help me god it's getting late.

What is this I say?
Oh help me God?
I say this day by day
But dose he help!

That’s for me to say…

I am that of a loving kiss
I know nothing now but simple bliss
I ask you now
Did god do this?

I am ugly and I am fat
With charms of that of a charm-less rat
I ask you now
Did god help that?

Now you ask, why do you turn your back on him?
But how can I turn my back on something,
That I had never faced before.

I prey to him,
He dose not listen
I beg to him,
He dose not listen
I scream at him,
He dose not listen
I let out a roar of fire,
And yet he dose not listen,

No, he has no ears
But has a hart?
Can't he see my eyes?
Can't he hear my pleas of pain?
Filled with blood-filled tears,
Filled more with this perpetual rain,
All this screaming, all in vein…

I sit and shout, till mornings end
Still I’m sitting still I’m staring
My soul has gone
But is he caring?

1,2,3,4
Same again
Same old chore…
5,6,7,8,
**** you god, it’s getting late…

Interesting perspective on it.
Good write.
Minor spelling but it's all good.
I hope you can make it through this ordeal though.

God works in mysterious ways,I used to be upset at stuff that didn't happen when I prayed for it so bad but I've learned to thank him for saying "no" or "not now"...Everything is made to work out this way for you,we can't see our futur in the long run so everything that does happen now is for the best.He does listen and hear,He is by your side, always remember that...Think of all the good things He's done for you(yes there's probably plenty) and you will realize that whatever good comes from Him and the bad does not.I have to admit your poem was nicely written though, and I wish you the best in everything that comes along your way,
PumpkinPie

God tries to teach us to help ourselves. I truely beleive all things are for a reason, we are here to learn and experience.
God does hear all questions and like someone once said, sometimes the answer is no.
Hang in there, you still have your poetry, and look at the responses it has generated!
Poetry doesn't have to sound nice or look nice to elicate a feeling.
Good job.
