Break down the glass

In the graveyard, I lay in silence,
Waiting for redemption.
Over thrown by my own judgement,
Undertaken by my own fear…I go blind,
I fall into a shallow grave and I die
The church windows,
Beautiful with the colours of my soul,
Shine down upon me.
The church bell rings, the sound,
It breaks my hart, my hope my healing!
It breaks down the glass.
Prolonging, Revolving
Sustaining, Maintaining,
I’m crying with sadness,
Inside hides my madness.
These chains,
My pain,
I must sustain
My mind is numb,
I can’t contain…contain what I must do,
For a man makes his own luck,
His own faith,
His own will,
Now leave my blood and let it spill,
Spill onto the ground.
To stop the bleeding,
To stop the hart,
And that’s to die.
The glass, it cuts with pain and haste
But that gives the blood a sweeter taste.
Leave my blood and let it flow
Plant me a seed of hope, then watch it grow!
So upon these pieces, I pick up at last
What’s done is done, and is then the past.
I must build me a new window,
And move on fast.
