Limerick #37 Poor Zelda Trilogy plus one

Contributed by norm on Thursday, 20th May 2004 @ 08:04:14 AM in AEST
Topic: HumorPoetry

So, dear Zelda married the slug,
He was somewhat less than a bug,
He was paunchy and fat,
He smelled like a rat,
Poor Zelda, her own grave, she dug.

Poor Zelda indeed.
She'd have been better off
with Mortimer Sneed.
She has my pity
and her smelly spouse, too.
I'd be glad to be rid of them,
if I were you.
Stitch
