A Fool's Deer

Contributed by Naijerana on Thursday, 20th May 2004 @ 07:42:08 AM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

My essence, My essence of life, is flooding out of me
That what whans ran like a deer
through my body, will soon be all gone
and the terror that i whans lived
will be ended
will i come to a river
or must i speak the nine mysterious names
Will i stay here and live
Or will i walk alone with grief
Where joy and happiness should be
Or will He be angry, for what if done to me self
And will he let me life
To….live a life of sorrow and solitary
And to let me beg of mercy to Him
But now i ask Him and my self, why...
Why should i beg for mercy to Him
While he has stolen my life, my loves
But no longer
Now i my self have taking it and not He
And now I will see them after many years
My torment, my solitary, will come to a end
But does not He control us all
So then this is not I who is taking my own live
But still He so this is only
A fools deer

Dont' worry about that. Everyone does it at least once. The duplicate poem will be removed in due time. Good write, by the way - I like the deer analogy. It works quite well.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
