It happened on an August night
The harvest moon was high
A fleeting glimpse of Heaven
Captured within a sigh
And though the setting simple
Out in that open field
My heart became enraptured
My body would not yield
His fingers danced across my flesh
On the blanket where we lay
And though thoughts raced within my mind
There was nothing I could say
The candy sweetness of his kiss
How it lingered on my tongue
His hot breath warmed the frigid
Of the woman I'd become
And once within my caverns
My back arched towards the sky
A magnificent explosion
An overwhelming high
And there beneath the summer night
A naked truth revealed
This man had touched a part of me
I thought I'd never feel

Rhythmic and sensuous.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. |
