Only One

Topic: DarkPoetry

Follow me into this blackened night,
And show me that you're full of fright.
Show me your eyes full of crimson red, and show me how you dance with the dead.
Spread your blackened wings,
And let me hear how the angel of darkness sings.
Sing to me without fear, sing to me and let me know that death is near.
I am the child of the night, I am the one who is feared.
I am the one who brings crimson tears.
Tell me that you are greater than me, for that will never be.
I move faster than any shadow, and I lift more souls with one hand,
So what makes your life so grand.
You can not capture what you can not see, and you will never be like me.
I am the leader of the darkest army, one that even darkness fears,
And I have been for over three hundred years.
Just as I take the blood from a heavenly well,
I will send your blackened soul down into the depths of hell.
For there could only be one, as your job is now done.
