alas

Contributed by ladyfawn on Wednesday, 19th May 2004 @ 11:07:51 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

zapping my creative flow; but does he know
my mind is in a catatonic state; how to relate
these ebb and tides of rhyme; they are mine
thoughts must be conveyed by my soul; to be whole
muses have a mind of their own; offer them a home
my heart heals then is set back; my flow i lack
peaceful days and carefree nights; i hold tight
my dog by my side who cares; breeze in my hair
i have lost my physical voice; not poetical choice
writing it out, feeling my poetry; loving the trees
it may all disapear; if my being cannot hear
i ask not for much; only candles and such
a day of rain for inspiration; no hesitation
his promises broken; hurtful words spoken
alas; he is an ass.

If rain be the inspiration, may everyday rain so that you return and retain, all the beautiful words you write.

Thank you for sharing.

hurtful words may sting and cause pain
but there will always come a healing rain

though today he may be an ass
this too in time will pass.

wishing to make you happy.

Oh Nessa...Your words can never be silenced by an ass. You pound out poetry just as the rain pounds out drop upon drop! You live to love and you love to live. Allow your poetry to heal you as you surround yourself with candles, and your dog. :-) As you know, animals are a great healing tool! As is rain inspiration. May you find all your soul seeks.
My warmest blessings to you my friend!
Angel always...Joni
