Pleading with God

I see the scars and fall to my knees. I ask God why and beg him please as my wounds begin to bleed. When will I be freed? What could I have possibly done to have to go through hell just to get to heaven? Seems this is a battle that just can't be won. Everytime, I try to run from the reality that my wounds cannot be undone. Maybe you could be the one to help me, save me, but please do not betray me. I don't like myself the way I am, maybe this is just too hard for you to understand.

| Its a beautiful poem, very emotional, it would be easier to read i think if it wasn't in such long sentences right next to each other, maybe split them up so its more of a column? it doesnt matter its a beautiful write!!! |

The words are well spoken,but I agree with above comment...format. The words would be so much stronger if you broke the lines up.But this is great expression here. I really liked it. Have you seen the movie...Passion of Christ??? It's a good movie that might help in understanding your plea a bit. Just an observation.
