I can’t imagine how my life would be,
Without you stood forever right beside me,
It pains my soul, my body but mostly my heart,
To think that your love could one day depart.
Our hearts entwine and beat as one,
If you weren’t with me I couldn’t go on,
I’d feel like an empty walking shell,
My hurt would be like an eternity in hell.
It has took me years to find you,
If I lost you, would on earth would I do?
I would never want another,
I could never find a best friend, companion and a lover.
The time we have together is so precious,
Our love, it feels like God has blessed us,
We belong together, as one forever,
Like peas in a pod, or birds of a feather.
You’re the yang and I’m the yin,
To take you from me would be such a sin,
I would sell my soul to keep you awake,
You and me, something I will never forsake.
You are an angel wrapped in humans clothing,
To me and the world, so much joy you bring,
We still have so many experiences to go through,
I know I’d slowly die inside, if I lost you!

| another really good write and on a happier note! im so glad u found someone u can love and cherish so much! i kno how that feeling is. i just say dont dwell on the what ifs. its a great poem |

| awwww...this is such a good poem...great write...I know how you feel about this subject "love" I am in it...and at first it was scary...my poems talk about me pushing him out of my life...but love last forever if he doesnt leave...he stayed with me...and now we are like...aw gawd...I don't know...we are together and I'm so happy for that...I love him so much...and that poem it can relate to a lot of us...your words are very good and flow great...keep it coming |
