I look to sky
Knowing answers aren’t there
So I sit and I sigh
As I sit in this chair
I’ve wept and I’ve cried
And I’ve slept and I’ve tried
To think of ways to
Get closer to you
But no matter what
Reality sets in
And doors swing and shut
And I’m always trapped in
But I always see light
And things aren’t ever “that bad”
There’s always delight
When I see what I’ve had
I’ve had dads and brothers
And friends and more
I’ve had only one mother
Which I will always adore
But I always come back
To that one special girl
Who I always hold tight
Like a clam to a pearl
From her lips when she smiles
To her eyes when she stares
It makes feet feel like miles
When I walk down the stares
But I never stay gone
And we can’t stay away
And right after dawn
I see her the next day
We can’t stay apart
And we always find ways
To keep each other’s heart
Together….. forever and always

"Share the moment, share life" What a kodak moment we had when we both wrote about fancying each other. *giggles* Good times, great oldies. lol
It is a good poem (if you want my poetic standpoint).
Bravo and encore as always.
Love,
