I felt a void inside of me,
a gaping empty space.
Loneliness, sadness, frustration,
were all I had inside.
Then I met you,
and you filled a little space.
You eased my loneliness,
you calmed my sadness,
You washed my frustrations away.
I wanted you so badly,
I had time for nothing else.
No time to think of sadness,
no time to let tears fall.
But you've got somebody else,
you don't think of me that way.
I can feel myself falling again,
into the blackness of that void.

I've felt the void, you're not alone. Your words are an example of feeling and description roled into one and they have left me with an impression and understanding that only true poetic grace can accomplish. Good Job. |

read "happy daydreams", read "void" again, read "the way I am!" and read the comment below it last. There are questions that need to be answered desperately. Contact me when you're done, k? stikker4life@yahoo.com |

hey, my friend went through the exact same thing and I as well have learned things in life about this. What really fills the void? |
