Goodbye My 'Friend'

Contributed by Shawn_Radley on Wednesday, 19th May 2004 @ 01:12:29 PM in AEST
Topic: StoryPoetry

I smell the fire that burns inside.
The hatred you feel, the look in your eyes.
I helped you out when you were trapped,
Yet I am the one you stab in the back.
You apologised right, then,
You go and do it all over again.
They hate your friendship, I'm sick of it too,
But most of all I'm sick of you.
You hurt me, you used me and inside you bruised me,
And when your secrets were out you accused me.
I cannot do this anymore.
The wounds are open and already sore.
But now I must learn to trust again.
So I say this to you..."Goodbye my 'friend'."
