WHEN OUR LOVE WAS NEW

"WHEN OUR LOVE WAS NEW"

I can close my eyes and feel the presence of you.
A protective arm, securely at your side, our love so new.
Understand? Impossible for you to conceive my heart's yearning.
No love ever in my life....from you I was learning.

Just a glimpse of your deep dark penetrating eyes
Held me tenderly without kisses, please no more goodbyes.
Field Engineer flew all over the world constantly.
Waiting, always waiting, you're not with me, missed sadly.

Newly wed when first I observed Niagara Falls.
Overcome, natural greatness just like our mutual adoration.
Magnificent wonder my eyes beheld, passion enthralled.
Captivated by your loyalty, my precious someone.

Fine mist, like the morning dew, refreshing our closeness
Crescendos with peaks, aimless falling, cascading boldness.
Repetition of tumultuous force, soothing calm pools below.
Caring for me, roars from the falls, love's sweet echo.

(HorseShoe Falls from the air. There is a rock enclosure where you can walk under the falls and see them from the underneath side.)

Rugged rapids ahead, near a beauteous precipice edge.
Inhaling moments, together, until another separated dredge.
Walking arms in arm under the mighty fall of water.
Looking into your eyes, our love will never wither.

Niagara Falls where our love was so new and true....
I didn't know I'd have you years so few
Knowing now, would I have married you again?
I wouldn't turn down minutes, even if only ten!

Rapid falling water smoothly tumbling down, 'tis life.
Gigantic body of water taught a new young wife.
You can't see the rapids, nor hidden rocks below.
Allow your heart to love immensely, your soul's feelings glow.

What beautiful love, loyalty and respect you had for your husband. Still beautiful memories to sustain you till you are with him again.

Love,
