Found not Lost!

Contributed by Unaekseveer1 on Wednesday, 9th October 2002 @ 01:50:00 PM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

I cannot remember where reality lies
Unsure if I'll find it when I open these eyes?
I've looked on the map but still I can't find
Neither route nor paths that'll help guide my mind
As I aimlessly wander through a state of delusion
The signposts are anagrams creating more confusion
Where on Earth is my mind stumbling towards?
With a memory of keys which open no doors
Useless information this stone seems to gather
Rolling down snakes with no hope of a ladder
So I'm drowning myself in a technical ocean
Slumped in a trance devoid of emotion
All my eyes see and all that I've learned
Is jumbled and tired from too long having yearned
What is this life and when shall I feel free
To read once again the signs pointing to normality
Discovery does teach many forms of what's real
This must be the way to find how I feel
So in all of my searching for my dream perfect place
Was it here all along in the mirror of my face?
If a riddle is to what my life has amounted
Then I'm pleased with my reality, in no way disappointed!
I must say though it's tricky judging my own behaviour
When nobodies with me, I've no noisy neighbours!
See I did it again it was all going just fine
But I went and overdid it with these final four lines!

Thankyou Lia,

I seem to struggle a little with the whole Beginning, Middle and End thing about writing a good poem! And I'm not sure if it's that important anyway?

I'm very self critical, but one day I'll be satisfied with my writing, maybe?

With love
Dean;-)

I think you did just fine. liked that one indeed. You seem to have found a trove of writes now. very good, perhaps all that technical logic your minding is coming into your self, more then you think. Good write. and yes to a question you asked, if you should want to share that one write your wrote about me, for Im very honord to have such a wonderful friend in you. I wish you well and the joke was fine, no problems. You might just need to clean out the debris inside the computer, defrag and cleansweep it, of redundant files. just a thought. Hope you can get the system working ok. seeing as maybe you will get this? Anyways, good write, finding one's niches in writing laspes, always make you feel good.
Always, Amber Rose :)

Thankyou Amber,

I am pleased to hear you had no ill effects from my attempt at humour!

I shall post it tomorrow then, the write for you, as I liked the way it came about and am very proud/pleased of that you liked it also.

I always defrag. every two weeks and cleanup more often than that even, so it must've been just because it's been on all day again searching for jobs and rearranging and rewriting then sending my cv to more people.

Anyway I do pray you are well and feeling not so sad perhaps and I look forward to reading some more af your writing soon.

Did you notice how panicked I sounded and how calm you are? Now I'm calm again, thankyou Amber.

With love
Dean;-)

Dean, you have yet another great poem here.I read a few times, and enjoyed it each times I read it. I have felt lost in the mind my self quite a bit. Although I am not really sure that there is really an thing that is actually normal in this world. At least I haven't witnessed and thing normal in my life.

Neither have I Candice,
and I don't think I ever will, because I don't know what normality looks like, so if I do see it I probably won't recognise it!Hehe
Thankyou for the very kind words.

With love
Dean:-)
